If I want to submit my own photo, how big does it need to be? If digital what resolution?
First, please insure that the photo is bright, there is good contrast between the subject and the background/foreground. Mailed photos should be at least 2 inches by 3 inches, 4 inches by 6 inches prefered. Please do not submit photos printed on plain paper as they will be of extremely low quality once scanned. Please leave a border of 1/2 inch between the edge of the item in the photo and the edge of the photo. Photos delivered on disk should be at least 2 inches by 3 inches and 170 dpi. The filesize should not be smaller than 200KB ( maximun 1MB ). The file must be in JPG(JPEG) format. We do not accept anyother file format.

What should I say in my ad? How should I say it?
Start by listing the Year, Make, Model and Trim/Package. These three items make up the header of your ad and will be displayed in bold. After that, a typical ad may be arranged as follows: ( The information in bold is highly recommended based on feedback from our readers. )Engine type and/or size (4cyl, V8, 327 Chevy, etc.)Type of transmission (5 spd or automatic)Option list (PS, AC, stereo, etc.)Color (exterior and interior, including interior material such as leather, cloth)Miscelaneous comments such as running condition, maintenance records, etc.Mileage, Price and Phone Number, VIN (required for office use only, the VIN will not be included in private party ads)A phone number is required for the ad to run. What goes in the Trim/Package field?
The Trim/Package is the option group that you buy from the dealer to enhance or upgrade your vehicle from the standard offering. It usually has a name such as LT, SLE, GT, Eddie Bauer, HO, Type S, etc. It also includes descriptions of the vehicle body, drive options, cab and bed upgrades such as 4x4, 2WD, Extended Cab, Super Cab, long bed, convertible, etc.

How Many Characters can I have in my ad and what is considered a character?
Small ads may contain up to 176 characters. Medium ads up to 255 characters. Jumbo and Super Jumbo ads up to 325 characters. A character is any letter, number, punctuation, space or other mark which will appear in the ad text and/or banner (where applicable).
